After several years, we have our first few chestnuts on the tree. Here’s a sneak peek.
Just a few right now, but we’ve been watching closely to see when they drop.
If you’ve never seen a chestnut on the tree, they are spiky green balls protecting the nut inside.
There’s a seam on the ball that will eventually drop the nut to the ground. In our case, we’re hoping to beat the deer to the few nuts when they drop.
